Running stats on Lattice

I have actually added the similar function, but until now I had not mentioned (apart to Adam) the URLs.
Just like Willy, you can get some stats (not quite as impressive a list yet) at BOINC Synergy stats.
Eg,

There are lots of other pages... but I will let you work them out *evil grin*... all you need to make sure is in the URL the project=lat (instead of sah, pah, cpdn etc)

Hey Willy nice of you to join us *smile*
Adam (developer) has made it quite clear to all stats developers and web developers he wants no mention of XML stats for beta or Lattice until it goes open (either open open or open beta).
The only thing thats ok to show people is the directory /boinc/ not /boinc_public/
Hope this clears it up ... I am sure your already ready though *evil grin*

Ahhh I absolutely meant no personal offence to anyone... and I hope you didnt take it that way.
I do see your point. There will be situations where until these things are up and running it makes things difficult (especially in situations like you described with unstable machines, or machines which need to be rebooted etc).
I just had a feeling from some posts here (and on other projects) that people were starting up in these new projects not so much to beta test... but rather for the glory or credits of being in a project early.
You (and thankyou) have eloquently put your reasons for suspending your involvement until things are fixed... nothing wrong with that at all.
(Yes I have settled a bit since the last post... call it male PMS *hehe*)

Not to sound too pompus... but COME ON PEOPLE!
Your all involved in pre-alpha phase of a project which is still in its very early days. We know that there are no timesteps and checkpoints... and the developers have already told us its high on their list of things to get up and running (as is the zero credit thing)
But remember this is PRE-ALPHA. People should NOT be joining up in projects in Alpha or Beta stage UNLESS their goal is to help test the project, which means finding things to fix and helping out the developers.
So many people are joining (I feel) trying to get a head start in Credit totals... which I feel is totally AGAINST what is trying to be achieved.
Maybe we need a BIG RED SIGN up on Alpha and Beta projects saying "ONLY SIGN UP if your willing to be a TESTER of this system which is not currently stable and still is work in progress"... and maybe even state "credits WILL be wiped before going public" even if you later dont wipe them (a few projects have done this)
Its all just my rant, but as a developer of other things... it just gets under my skin a bit.

I know of many sites that use the RSS (personally I dont use them for a number of reasons)...
but be careful, I would suggest whilst making it work is a good idea, actually activating it may be prudent only when going to a more open level (instead of hidden alpha)
