Father of five working at a NJ based \"think\" tank. Someone turned me on to SETI@Home several years back. I dislike PC\'s being left on with nothing productive to do and Boinc seems to have several projects that could lead to something useful if they got some CPU assistance. Now I\'m basically a hired gun (OK a derringer) for US based teams that can move up in the rankings with a little help from me. Currently that\'s this project for SETI-USA. Bonus is that it\'s a somewhat smaller project and I actually can show up high in some rankings.
I can keep doing BOINC related projects as long as someone doesn\'t make a security issue out of running this software. |
